Saturday morning the whole family piled in the truck and headed to Freva's!!!

We are now very lucky to call Merry and Nancy our own. I think we will be forever grateful!

We dropped Jenna and my Grandma off in Fredericton and brought Brittany along. Fred and Val were kind enough to let her take both ponies for a test drive which made all 10 hours in the truck worth while for her. Brittany decided almost without heistation that Merry was her pony and Nancy would be Jenna's pony ...

Today the weather was the absolute pitts. Around 4 it stopped raining so we took the opportunity to test drive Skipper. Kayla had a friend over for the day. Skipper certainly adores having attention from the little people. He is definitely a kids' pony. The girls thought he looked like a magical unicorn so Fronie make a horn out of his forelock for them. It was pretty funny!

Of course I had to ride first - for safety's sake of course. I wasn't excited or anything. Just because it's ...

Before I even start I want to let you know that right now I am listening to some snoring from downstairs and trying to figure out if it's Lord Gord or the dog! Ooops ... I just heard some movement and a scratch, so it MUST be the Lord.

Today was a wonderful day here at Peetree Stables. The sun was out and the wind didn't pick up until late this afternoon. Fronie came over in the morning and we did the barn together. I must say that she's got the hang of things ... even if she does add ...

Farmer John lived on a quiet rural highway.

But, as time went by, the traffic

Slowly built up at an alarming rate.

The traffic was so heavy and so fast that his

Chickens were being run over at a rate of three to six a day.

[]

So one day Farmer John called the sheriff's office

And said, "You've got to do something about all

Of these people driving so fast and killing all of my chickens."

"What do you want me to do?" asked the sheriff.

"I don't care, ...

Yesterday for the first time I was too tired to ride.

I was afraid I would be hurt if I was thrown.

I heard someone say my barn was too shabby.

I let someone tell me I was too pudgy to ride.

I realized I was old.

I had to face that I could no longer keep up.

I had to let go of my dreams.

I felt my heart break.

I turned my back on my friend.

I knew I was done.

Today, for the last time,

I felt warm, braided leather in my hands.

I ran my stirrups up so they wouldn't bang ...

Ok, so I find out tonight if we get a new house with a bunch of land (50+ acres). The catch is for this land it needs to have it cleared away to make room for a barn, so eventually I can bring the horses home. I was told this land use to be a farm a couple generations ago and it looks like the land was cleared away a number of years (10 I'm guessing) ago and started to grow up again. But I'm wondering what you guys think for going and cleaning this land out so I can start making it into something ...

I had a wonderful day today. I gave Fronie a lesson on Stretch and then hopped on myself for a wee bit of a ride. The sun even came out to see our performance.

But now, TOMORROW is going to be even better. We have something being dropped off her tomorrow evening. I'm not going to tell you what it is. I figure we all need some excitement in our lives so I'm going to torture you until tomorrow night. Or even Friday morning, depending on what time our little arrival celebration is done.

RS Painted Pretty (pending)

The pretty filly recently arrived from Saskatchewan, a little underweight and scruffy. She has been dewormed and is gaining nicely. She has a very gentle temperment, is a quick learner and loves attention. Lots of speed in her pedigree. Hubby has decided to get a team so we are offering this flashy little one for sale....forgot to mention that she has pretty blue eyes. Asking $1800

Long story short version........IN the last year it has been a long haul....I try to do the best I can for everything surrounding my family and horses and relocation program....

Won't give any personal info but sometimes life throws curve balls that are so hard to catch we think all we are looking at is losing the game.....No matter how hard you try you can't catch the ball let alone hit it the ball with the bat.....

Anyways. ...
