ALONG THE PURPLE GOLD BROCHADE

AN OLD SAMARATIN WALKED

HE STRUGGELED DOWN THE BRICK PILED PATH

AND CAUTIIOUSLY HE STOPPED

HE STARED AWHILE AND WATCHED IN AWE

AT THE SIGHT BEFORE HIS EYES

AND ALL THE WHILE HE STOOD THERE

WITH SILENCE IN HIS SIGHS

IF ALL THE OLD TOMORROWS

WOULD ONLY QUICKLY PASS

AND HE HIMSELF BE SLEEPING

AMONGST THE GOLDEN GRASS

BUT FORTUNES ARE BUT SELDOM DRAWN

IN GREATNESS AND IN WEALTH

AND SLOWLY AS HE TURNED AWAY

HE WALKED AWAY IN STEALTH

Forgetter Be Forgotten?

My forgetter's getting better,

But my rememberer is broke

To you that may seem funny

But, to me, that is no joke

For when I'm 'here' I'm wondering

If I really should be 'there'

And, when I try to think it through,

I haven't got a prayer!

Oft times I walk into a room,

Say 'what am I here for?'

I wrack my brain, but all in vain!

A zero, is my score.

At times I put something away

Where it is safe, but, Gee!

We did not give him a very good gift this year...we are giving Dolly back to the wonderful people who bred and raised her....I have FINALLY accepted that I will never use her to her full potential, and she is just too nice a horse to stand around doing nothing, I just cannot get over the height thing, she is too tall for me, sad that 4 inches makes such a difference ...

On Children

Kahlil Gibran

Your children are not your children.

They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.

They come through you but not from you,

And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,

For they have their own thoughts.

You may house their bodies but not their souls,

For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,

which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.

You may strive ...

Are you a stall-bound horse? Want to amuse yourself and your human? Well, here are some fun activities for you!

1) Poop in the water game

This will test your coordination and spatial abilities. Horses all over the world practice this, every day. You must try to poop in your water container (note: drink water first, so you won't go thirsty!). If your water container is too high to poop in, you can attempt to poop on the stall's door, or on the wall. This also gives your human something ...

COURSE IT DEPENDS ON YOUR POINT OF VIEW.

Good Things About Husbands:

Husbands are less expensive to shoe.

Feeding a husband doesn't require anything that even mildly compares with the hassle of putting up hay.

A lame husband can still work.

A husband with a belly-ache doesn't have to be walked.

Husbands don't try to scratch their heads on your back.

They're better able to understand puns.

If they're playing hard to catch you *may* be able to run them ...

Dear Tech Support,

Recently I purchased and installed Horse 1.0. I soon noticed that this program appears to have numerous glitches. For instance, every time my computer boots up, I have to run Feed 5.3 and Water 7.1. Many times I've been in the middle of writing an important document, and a window will flash telling me to run Clean Stall 2.0. This program also contained applications I did not wish to install, such as Manure ...

But, as time went by, the traffic

Slowly built up at an alarming rate.

The traffic was so heavy and so fast that his

Chickens were being run over at a rate of three to six a day.

[]

So one day Farmer John called the sheriff's office

And said, "You've got to do something about all

Of these people driving so fast and killing all of my chickens."

"What do you want me to do?" asked the sheriff.
