| I'm sure you already know who and what I had bred, lol but for a refresher to anyone else, here is ... Explosive Amy my Thoroughbred mare, won 1/4 mill on track, just the last couple weeks she's started looking very pregnant, here's hoping nothing happens, she has slipped one foal in the past :( but has also had 3 other foals one started racing this year at woodbine. she's Bred to Western Impulse, so foal will be appendix QH Western Impulse Faline (PP No Chip Marks) solid bred APHA had the summer off because of a splint after kicking a stall wall :( so she was bred to Docs Poco Bandit APHA Being a Maiden mare she's not showing alot but she's getting rounder

| I WISH I was expecing a foal next year - pretty sure I am going to go through withdrawl. We had Lexi last year, and Tru this year! I'm going to miss not having a baby around. | |

| We have lots due..hopefully next year. 3 AQHA, roan, grulla and black and 6 Paints, 3 overo and 3 tobiano. All are bred to Laddy except a homozyous mare that came to us in foal to Kings Eternal Tivio. We only have a couple due in early spring. Looking forward to the arrival of the foals helps make the winter go by more quickly. Coosa King aka Laddy | |

| LB - I thought you had bred Amy to Bandit as well.... we had Bandit's full sister at our place for training last month. What an amazing mare... built sooooo nicely and she trained so fast. She has this tiny little jog and so willing to do everything. She had the calmest and kindest nature... I didn't want her to go home - she was smaller than Bandit though... Anyone who is looking for a Paint stallion I wouldn't hesitate to point in his direction. If he is like his sister to ride Jane must be on cloud 9!
We have two AQHA mares in foal to High Brow Red - he is a half brother to High Brow Cat one of the top sires in the cutting industry. I think he falls second to Smart Little Lena.
The first mare is Pep our trusty and reliable penning mare...sure going to be hard to leave her home next year. I have my fingers crossed for a grulla... :flower:
The second is a Mark Dually daughter whose show career was unfortunately cut short but her children are doing her proud.
We have three minis bred or atleast we think three - they can't really be checked like the bigger horses so we're just hoping they all caught.
We have an AMHR/AMHA black pinto mare and an AMHR dapple gray pinto mare bred to an AMHR/AMHA Paint/Appaloosa
Then we have Brittany's trustly little mare Judy Lynne who is AMHR/AMHA bred to a phenomnal little black and white pinto that is double registered as well. She is kind of the wild card... she kept coming back into heat so we're not sure that there is actually a baby in there. She already played the pregnancy trick on us most of last summer...
My SIL has two foals to come...
She bred her medecine hat APHA mare to High Brow Red and she bred her Appendix mare to LBs old paint stallion, Painted Poco Twist
I don't think I'm into this breeding bit - we thought we'd try breeding our own to train instead of buying in yearlings/two year old but it just isn't our cup of tea...the two AQHA mares that we bred were AI and it just cost way way way tooo much. We already have a pile of money invested in something that is still but a thought...
I like the Miniatures much better everything is done live cover and there isn't so much chaos involved... the AI thing was unreal - it seemed like we had vets here everyday checking and then collecting and needling and the whole nine yards... | |
