ok I have a question for all you avid showers...
im showing Denver this year on the western horse circuit, so i will be going to some "real" shows for the first time..well...ever lol. every show ive ever gone to has been pretty low-key. im curious about the rules of hoof polish... when your horse has white leg markings (in turn, giving them a white/striped hoof on that particular foot), do you paint their hooves with clear polish, or black? or do you paint the black hooves black, and the white/striped hooves clear??
ive asked a couple of people about this, and ive gotten a couple of different answers.
is it different with a specific breed? for example, a paint or an appy.. who would have white or striped hooves possibly on all four feet??
:)
