Have you ever seen something that you knew you had to have but thought it wasn't possible. Maggie is it for me. I got her in April 2010, I didn't even has as much as a shovel, nothing horsie at all. I havn't owned a horse in 27 years. I call her "my midlife crisis little red corvette"
I love this horse!! Now at 7 she is being broke to saddle and seems to be taking it in stride.

I recognize this horse! I drool over her when I drive home from work when she is out in the pasture, you live in across from the Towers in Newport Corner? Too cool, When I seen the pics, I was like "I know that horse" she is stunning!

OK I know its been a long time since I've communicated,July /11 think. I'm sorry. I've have checked out ME everyday,sometimes twice a day, thank you everyone for sharing. In Aug I decided to get my big ol but back in the saddle after 25 years Maggie needed to be rode, so i figured it might as well be me, all went well. We are taking it very slow, her pregnant, me settling in and all. We survived a Herb Best Clinic in September which was encouraging. However through all this and the months that followed I am holding my breath to whether Maggie is really in foal or not. Afraid to mention it in case something "happens". Well i am just too excited to keep quiet any longer. She at 315 days and counting. I watched her belly undulate the other morning,poor Maggie, she just waited then had a pee.I have seen the little critter move and have felt it, still didn't want to jinx anything. i lost my Dad last month, he was the best horseman I knew, my go to guy, really missing him right now but am confident with what I have learned from him over the years (Thanks Dad,I Love You) So that's my blip for now, I want to share this with you folks of ME, you give me hope, inspiration, knowledge and of course laughs.THANK YOU!!!
