Hello again all!
its been a crazy summer... or crazy time since I got home in May.
To sum most things up, before the end of june I was making plans to go back to Florida this winter and after Fl move to the states... and so started in the search in find perfect home for at least one of my horses. In my search I found 100% the best home ever for Belladonte. she is at a little camp just in N.S. being loved by little girls. and Last week belle was at a show with a little girl. (Keep in mind belle is only 3-4 years old and I just started her training two summers ago with the winter off) they were amazing!! Belladonte could not have been more perfect they say! they ended up coming away with a (I think) 2nd a 3rd and a 5th! in classes of 13 horses! I am sad that I sold such a great horse. but she is in such a great place its hard to be too sad. She is probably so happy. I wouldd never want to take that away from her. after all she had been through in such a short amount of time.
I was also thrown into a Team Called Mini Maddness (I started out just acting as one of their grooms untill one of the members could not come out to pratices and ended up giving me their horse to show.) It was such a huge hit the group wants to do more driving and showing.
And now where I am officaly staying around, I'm an offical full time driver for the team! next year we plan to go over to PEI and show.
Where I am now staying I thought maybe I should start to build up my training experience and reputation by getting in a younger horse to train and then rehome next late summer/fall. Long story short, some how I ended up buying a mini from my friend (who owns most of the minis on the team) But also some friends emailed me wanting me to put training or Exercise their horse(s) so it all works out in the end. So now I have Sandy Arizona, Harold and now Ricky.
I am also working on writing a book! (a fantasy type story) which is going good!
Also finally met a nice good guy this summer. Before I thought I only attracted not good guys. but not this time. which is exciting.
Since the end july things have been going very well!
Arizona and I even went fun cattle penning and swiming! it was so much fun!
we are working so much better since I got back! which has made me so happy.
I may even have stumbled upon a hidden talent Arizona has... since a show (and a Skudaho class) Arizona now loves to jump over things. the more surprising thing is.... its kind of fun! its a crazy fun feeling to be up in the air on the back of a horse!
As for the mini, I have to find a good name to REG him under.
