Gord Searle is an Alberta based Clinician that has traveled across Canada holding clinics and demonstrations on Horsemanship.
Recently, he helped a friend by teaching their young horse to load on a trailer so it could travel to the P.E.I. Veterinarian College for surgery.
All horse owners should have their horse trained to load. You never know when an emergency will occur, at that time it may be too late for training.
Gord believes all horses can learn to walk on and off the trailer when asked. If your horse does not load there may be other issues that need to be addressed as well.
If you would like your horse to walk on and off your trailer, Gord will come to you. His rates are $50 per hour with a two hour minimum and dependant on location there could be a mileage charge.
If you believe you have a horse that cannot be trained to trailer, Gord offers you his risk free policy:
If after the two hours of training, the owner is not walking their horse on and off the trailer, not only will you not have to pay for the training, but Gord will give you $200 for your time and trouble.
"You should never have to force your horse to do anything, it is all about the way you ask." Gord Searle
