| Our gang are all a bit shaggy looking in their winter woolies. With all the hubbub of the holidays, I haven't taken too many pictures and thought that it might be a good way to start 2010. | Thanks everybody. We are very happy with our horsey family. Everyone has their own unique personality and overall they get along very well.
Moochie is surely a different name and her registered name is one of my all time favorites..."Me Moocho Denero"....kinda sums up keeping horses but they are worth it!!!
And...Laddy does think he is "Da Man" but can be shy and sensitive as well...quite the ladies man.
The main part of our herd stays turned out 24/7 and overall they stay fairly clean...occasionally a few end up with a bit more color than we bargained for if you know what I mean. I try to have a mega grooming session most weekends to spiff the spots and detangle wind whirls and knots if the weather is permitting. I actually trimmed the Fjord fillies manes last weekend and I am thankful they are not able to see themselves or they might hold it against me. Wissy gave me instructions and I tried Wissy, I really did. I think it will get easier each time I do it...I hope!!!! | |
