Pasture Pics

We finally got everyone out to pasture..except poor ole Laddy. The mares went out last week and the yearlings yesterday. It is so nice to have them out in the fields again.

WOW! Talk about horsie heaven! My favourite shot is the one of all the girls looking at you. There are some pretty wide loads happening there! Older and Younger look just as beautiful as ever - especially with the scenery.

Younger has decided that dandilions are totally deletiable. Everytime she pulls her head up she has a mouthfull of yellow and her upper lip has turn an utterly odd shade of yellow...may have to hire her out for lawn care...hmmm?????

I'm drooling here, and I don't even eat grass!! My ponies would go crazy in those pastures!

We have been very fortunate here Teeka, our grass is coming along really well and we have the pastures set up in 4 different sections so we can rotate the horses so none of the fields get over grazed. The girls have really been enjoying the grass!!!!!!

What !! No laddy pics?? in pasture or not you need to include the Hansom man.

I have to get some of the big fella. He hasn't been out to grass yet. We usually let him into the smaller field where the fillies are right now. He has one big run and then goes to the knoll and stands like he is "King of the Castle".

What is not to love at your place...color everywhere and all that nice green grass.


Funny little thing a few years ago my daughter was at work with me and printed a picture and taped it to my desk, knowing I would love it. It was your place, lol.

I really love this time of year with all the different shades of green and even though a lot of people think dandilions are evil...I love the bright yellow. Almost everyone is getting totally shed of their winter coats and getting shiny...gotta love the spring!!!

When are the rest of the mares due? There are some big bellies there. Everyone looks very happy :bigsmiley.png:

Twist, Kandee, Moochie and Ruby are all due now between the 18 and 23rd. Sugar and Jewel are due in mid June but both foaled early last year. The next few weeks could prove to be interesting

I see Kandee has her mask on again. Did it make it out of the woods this year??

So far so good for the mask. Kandee is being very well behaved or at least hasn't gotten tired of it yet but the spring/summer is still young.....can you put a tracking device on a mask....it might come in handy?

Your place looks like paradise to me!!! All that green grass, and tall shade trees, and colorful equines... it must take your breath away everytime you see the vistas.

Ha! Look at the bellies! I can't wait to see all the little babies bouncing around your field!
