New Halters for the Boys

So my plan was to get personalized halters for the boys. Seems to be a wee bit of a mix up on the sizes though. Stretch's turned out fine and fits great. Thunder is wearing Skippers for now and Skipper is naked. The tack shop is going to correct the order though, which makes me very happy. I snapped a few shots today of my "models". They were both in sookey moods so wanted to crawl into my lap. That and eat the camera!

OH I LIKE! Wouldn't those look nice on our black percherons!

They are the Big D brand - very well made halters. There are tons of colours to choose from. Take about 6 weeks to get in and the final cost is about $66 each or so. If you want I can get you the info from our tack shop and you can order through them - or if a shop closer to you carries Big D products they should be able to hook you up.

Poor wee Thunder does not look at all impressed at the wrong name. Kinda like getting hand-me-downs all the time...that cat is laughing at it all.....

They are nice. Love the red and black on the black horses looks very sharp.

When we bought our new mare last fall the lady that sold her to us had one done and it was on her when she arrived.

The red on black combo is very attractive and ...lol...I was thinking the same thing about poor little Thunder...he doesn't look too impressed to be impersonating Skipper!!!!!
