| I thought it would be neat to bring you all along :) Freva, she's personality plus plus plus! lol actually, when I saw her add on AR 6.5 years ago the caption was personality ++ :) OMG just noticed how long Willows mane is getting.. this photo was taken less than 7 months ago :) i wish my hair grew that fast. I'm letting her mane grow completely out... promised myself I won't cut it until its very long. | |

| WIIW, what a great story! You say you are proud of how she is (and you should be!) - you take the credit, girl - you made her into who she is today :-) Thanks for taking us along - I am so envious of your woodland trails - too crowded where I am on PEI...not to mention we can't use the Confederation Trail. Thanks so much for the pics and video, almost like being there! | |

| Awww, loved every minute of it! I especially loved those perked up ears during the loping video, way too cute. Wish I had some good trails around here! | |

| wonderful pictures and videos WIIW, Willow seems to be a great horse..She is has stunning has always...Looking at the pictures I noticed that you ride with a halter and a bridle, Im glad people still do that..when I first got Bay-Lee I had posted a picture of Bay-Lee on a trail ride with his halter and bridle and I got torn apart on the "other" forum, but I still do it when I need to, and Im glad Im not alone....I really enjoyed going on the trail ride with you and Willow, thanks for sharing.. | |

| Glad you enjoyed the ride :)
Bay-Lee, while riding I actually just have a red noseband tie town under my headstall.. I don't think I need this but it makes me feel a little more secure in the event of a rear (which she never tried to do, I dug the tie down out of one of my totes, I've never used it before). I'll ditch it next time and see how we make out! BUT in my black saddle bag I have a halter and lead rope.

| Thanks B_H
I'm finally at a place where I am happy with my tack. I saved up for 8 months to buy my saddle off of Tacktrader.com, it came from Newbraska, USA a little over a year ago. Got the new saddle pad off Ebay, as well as picked up a felt liner pad, headstall & saddle bag from Rods.com and the rope reins from Northstream, and a frenchlink bit from Shurgain all this summer. The breast plate was orignially bought for my old Standardbred mare 8 years ago and the noseband tie down was given to me 9 years ago used, gosh only knows how old it is!
I like to tie my reins in a knott on a trail by myself.. I then tie the left over part around the horn.. I'm always paranoid that the reins will come over her head should I come off, but not anymore :)
