In Moncton...

I am in Moncton for the night and most of the day tomorrow to take my dog to the vet. Came tonight because it is about a 6.5 hour drive from home...about an hour out I got a call from the vet that they were going to have to postpone my appointment, would Tuesday be okay? I explained it wouldn't be possible and started looking for a place to turn around for home. The phone rang again...they are going to see me tomorrow after all but it won't be until 3:30, which means I have about 4 hours between checkout and her appointment. Sure wish Freva was closer I would see if she was up for a visit...would love to meet her and see all her beautiful horses or oldladynewhorse. Any thoughts on what a person could do with a dog in tow in Moncton on a minus 10 day?

We are about 2 hours away from Moncton and would so love to have you visit.....not sure if the time frame would allow but sure wish it would!!!! If you wanted to give it a try......that would be great....you would be most welcome!!!!

Cains tack shop is in Moncton, Maritime Saddle and Tack, Greenhawk. That can kill some time (and your pocket book) I'm about 40 min away in sackville if you want to come help clean stalls :) lol I even provide coffee for slaves

Good news I talked to the front desk and they are going to extend my check out time.

I am so worried about having the dog in the truck in the cold. I could easily keep busy shopping; but, she is not as easy to travel around with. Although, I am thinking some quick (ha ha) tack shopping would be okay lb, I going to check out the address of the shops you mentioned. I am thinking I will pass on stalls...got a break from mine.

Freva I would love to come meet you and you critters; but, I just don't think it would be a good idea to add that much more driving to my day. I am traveling by myself with the dog and I often have issues with my hips sitting in the vehicle this long.

holy smokes, that sounded like an awful long time to be driving for a vet appt.....obviously you dont have much of a choice in your area..........what did you end up doing

The vet was a specialist, an optormoligist.

Didn't up doing much, the hotel let me have a late check out. With the dog with me it limited what I could do, it was so cold and she gets car sick. For the ride up and back we gave her some med for the sickness; but, I couldn't give them to her before the vet appointment that morning.

Going back in six months for a recheck...gonna have a better game plan.
