| no i believe they are Finches. Cardinals look like blue jays but only red... :lol: | |

| The humming bird is a female Ruby Throated Hummingbird. The red one is a Purple Finch. The yellow one is a Gold Finch. I'm not sure of the wee brown sparrow. Hope this helps your enjoyment of them! | |

| The red ones are purple finches. We have had a red cardinal at our place. I have never seen one here before. Just beautiful. I think he may have moved on since I haven't seen him lately. Sometimes I think they are just passing through to go somewhere else. | |

| lovely pix Bay Lee..........I remeber the first summer I was here and had strung up some fence line.......I go up the next morning and couldnt figure out why the wire had turned yellow............then bear moved and the whole wire took off into the air............it was magnificent...........all those golden finches............I have cliff swallows, barn swallows and house swallows all building nests like crazy.. | |
