Poly tape vs Poly rope???

We are going to be putting a new paddock at my house so that the boys can live with me. I am thinking of putting Poly Rope instead of poly tape. We have used and still will use poly tape and had no problem with it, I think that the rope looks better. What is your opinion which is better or are they the same? Thanks!

We used the thick rope when we put up our new paddock... from past experience we found it has more of the metal pieces making the fence have more of a snap and also harder to short out if it frays a bit.

I am slowly changing over to the rope. We fine that the wires in the tape breaks in the wind here.I also like how the rope looks.I agree the rope frays less and harder to short out.

I will not use the rope I've seen two horses get major injuries from getting caught in it as it doesn't break and know of another horse that ended up having to be put down after pretty much cutting their leg off because of the rope I would go with the tape it will break if needed or at least stretch so they can free them selves.
