Pics of my gang...

Well as some of you whom are on my facebook probably have seen but for those of you who haven't I thought I would post some of the many photos Christine Donovan did for me this past Saturday.

I am happy she was here, but at the same time very sad as to the reason I had her come. My sad news is that my male Newfie, Bronson I am going to have to let go before winter. He tore his cruciate ligament last year and they told me it was $3000 and could be a lot more by the time we were done to repair it with NO certainty that it would work. So they told me he wasn't in pain, which he proved to me as he still ran and played. I put him on a few weeks rest and he has been PERFECT up untl a few weeks ago when I am thinking his leg has gone again. He had a whole year of not being lame, and running and playing. The hard part about this is he is still happy, not in pain, so full of life, he just can't make his leg work like he wants it to al the time.

I have to and have made one of the HARDEST and MOST HEARTBREAKING decisions of my entire life. I have to let my boy go in the very NEAR future. I am totally heart broke for myself and for Bria.. And it just doesn't seem fair that a dog only 4.5 years old has to be let go. It's just not fair, he's so full of life, when you look in his eyes.. $3000 leg with no certainty is just not realistic, and they are almost certain the other leg will tear if it hasn't already I think it's started.

Bria (his sister) and I are going to have on Bleeding heart of a hard time with this as they are best of friends, she will be TOTALLY lost without him. I honestlydon't know how I am going to say goodbye. So I had Chris come to help me keep some memories of my boy.

And I have to say I am MORE than HAPPY with the shots she's taken. I am only going to show a few of Bronson, as I am going to keep most of them to myself right now. But here are some and some of the rest of my crew..

The pics are absolutely beautiful. It seems so unfair to have to make the difficult decision that you are pondering but you are thinking of the long term and your heart will tell you what is right. Together with you in tears and a hug coming your way!!!!!!!!!

Oh Zoey, I have no words to make you feel any better about this decision. The pictures are terrific.

Sometimes life just SUCKS! I'm glad that you decided to get some really nice pictures so that you will have lovely memories when the time comes. My thoughts are with you. I admire your courage.
