Chasing Wild Horses

There is a show on tonight (Saturday 7pm) on A-Channel about the horses on Sable Island. Amazing! I would love to be able to visit Sable some day.

My dad has been lucky enough to go to Sable Island a few times, he used to work on the Rowan Oil Rigs that used to be stationed just off of the island, and during big storms - where they didn't have enough time to go ashore they would use Sable Island as protection from the worst of the waves and wind. And he would bake bread and cookies for the researcher Zoe, he has pictures of him being on the Island and I have a signed book from Zoe! I was so jealous!!
