we went for a drive.....

today and saw the new(old) home that Dolly is going to - I think she will be very happy there.....she will be with her mother, 1/2 sister, and 1/2 brother....apparently she nursed off of the mother until she was 2...that would have been some sight!! She'll be going in the next couple of weeks... :-(
It's just a square pasture though, not as fun as here.....although pretty sure she will LOVE the round bale LOL

That will be a great family reunion. And instead of cake they'll have a round bale!

I'm sure it will be a sad day when she leaves, but very reassuring to know she's going to a good home where she was previously loved. It will be interesting to see how they all act when the family is reunited. I bet they all remember each other :).

and where may I ask is the darn picture????? I;m sure next week when she goes you will be ready with the camera. :cowboyhound.gi

I bet she will definately remember her mom. Are you going to be there for the reunion? Make sure to get pictures if you are able to be there.

I'm sure this will be a sad day for you and Brain, and a bittersweet day for Dolly, she gets reunited with her family( equine) but has to say good bye to you. It so hard to have to let go.. but its so wonderful that you know she will be well taken care of, loved and with a herd she knows and who knows her. Be sure you get pics of the reunion.

I don't think I will be there - someone is coming to get her here - :-( The new people are going to stay with the horses for the day, to reintroduce Dolly to the herd. They don't live where the barn is - he seems to be quite a worrier - (know the feeling) - they are stalled at night, he has great fencing up, 3 strand electric, a livestock waterer, run in shed - that I almost think she won't fit in :-( - and I think he is softening up to "maybe" looking to re-home her - I know she will be in good hands.....he said he would put all 4 of them down before he saw them passed on to the wrong places....and you know? - I don't really have a problem with that...

OT - My camera has died, it won't come on even with fresh batteries, do they have an internal battery like computers and phones?
