Sooooo............

I was quite happy with my little herd of 3.... well 6 if you count MB’s horses which are family too. I wasn’t looking for another horse but check many horse classified sites daily anyways (its an addiction ... I can’t stop lol). Didn’t really want another horse, my girls bring joy to my life and wonderful new adventures and challenges to face together every day. BUT there was a mare posted on Atlantic Rider that caught my eye, I knew a bit about this mare and had seen her before so didn’t really think much more about it... or tried not to. She began to haunt my dreams a bit (sort of like Dessi did but not as strongly) anyways I wasn’t getting much sleep between wondering about her and where she would go (along with other things too but still) so after some prodding from MB (I think she was getting tired of me wondering aloud to her lol) I sent off an e-mail with some questions. Well on the 21st MB, another friend and I went down to see her and made a great day of it visiting Ride’em and CJ too. To make a long story short she came home on Saturday after some quick planning and lots of help and hectic scrambling from MB on Friday night while I was holding a sleepover for my Sparks.
So introducing my new girl – Marks Oriental Blue *Ori* a coming 6 year old palomino AQHA mare. She is a complete sweetheart and SUPER SENSITIVE!! She is green started but we are starting over from the beginning together as she has some issues. With time she should be an awesome partner – she is quite willing to try and really wants to please.






the hay was supposed to stay ON TOP of the pallets to keep it out of the mud but Ori had different ideas *sighs*

lol, heads up on one of her quirks, she loves mud, when all the other horses would find a dry spot to roll she'd find the deepest wettest mud hole and totally coat herself in it. Glad she's with an ME er so I can see how she's doing. Love your pics :)

Lol she's just like Dessi in that regard - though Dessi's favorite trick is to roll in the pond first then go and roll in the muddiest place she can find.... *sighs* they may be clean again come summer..... then again maybe not lol

What an adorable face she has. You'd better give her instructions about the pallet again and the placement of the hay. I DON'T THINK SHE'S GOT IT YET! What did the rest of the herd think of her?

I think she is absolutely stunning. I think that well placed diamond on her nose, marks the spot for a soft snuggly kiss. I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing pics on her progress. I always loved looking at her pics when she was at lb-ranch's.
