Pics of Our Herd

I have a love/hate relationship with Photobucket so I haven't posted for a while. The ladies and babies are really enjoying the pasture and are getting rolypoly. A few pics of our gang.....

I too have a hate relationship with Photobucket......wish there was an easier way to post pictures to our forum....I.m sure therre would be hundreds more pix posted.

Guys, there is an easier way. Freva I always see your photos on Facebook, and easy way is to:

1) right click on the photo
2) click on "Properties"
3) then copy the address URL.

When you go to post on here you must do

[*img*] PASTE THE URL ADDRESS [*/img*]

Ever since I discovered this I haven't touched photobucket. The [*img*] link [*/img*] works for any photo on the internet.


PS Don't use the "*" stars I used.. I had to do this so it wouldn't show a picture frame error box

you mean the actual picture will show up, or just a link to the picture

Wil.....I tried the properties button in my picasa and it only gave me a whole list of my camera things and dates etc.....so I still would have to post it to facebook or something then click for it to go here yes???? no???

All I have to do for you all to see it is add the [*img*] at the front and [*/img*] to the end. (without the "*")

So in essense I am keying in [*img*]http://www.hedweb.com/animimag/horse-beach.jpg[/*img*] (without the "*")

Which literally is resulting in the below if you take out the "*"s I added to show you what I am putting.




The photo has to be online.. it has to have a web URL for the IMG brackets to function as HTML.

No Problem, JJ...I really appreciate the tips, Wil-If-I-Want...I am not "happy" with Photobucket at the moment. Have been working all morning to get pics to ME. I will definitely give your advice a try!!!!The only issue that I might have with the direct transfer from FB is that my pic are usually very large and I do not resize when posting to FB like I do here...would that be an issue??

Facebook automatically resizes them, thus they will appear the same size as your facebook photos

I will copy its URL link by right clicking, then properties, and copying the URL. I will to the [*img] at the front and [*/img] and the end of the link. (Without the *)

which will result in




SOOOO much easier than dealing with photobucket! facebook is quick to upload and sizes them just perfect! as you can see.

AAAARERRRGGGGHHHHH WIL........I went into facebook, right clicked on a picture....went to properties and a whole page sort of came up.....I right clicked on the address and had to SELECT ALL to make it highlight.....I couldnt click copy or paste they were not options ......so after it was highlighted I couldnt move it anywhere............WThECK

Beautiful herd Freva. I love that Arab/paint foal, he is so cute. If I was looking for a baby I would consider him.

I upload pics the same way WIIW does. Its really easy Joan & Freva. When the properties window comes up, only copy the link after ADDRESS, and then follow WIIW instructions.

gawd I hate being old and retarded.

Wil......not sure I understand why or how......but I did actually get pix up in the blog using your method.....so thank you....and thanks Barefoot for seeing I was sinking.
