| Benjamin almost drowned on us last night. Jason and I were trail riding and stopped at a brook to let the horses drink. This is a regular thing for us, we always stop to let the horses drink at this spot. Anyways, he stepped into a hole in the water and went down. Jason jumped off and Benjamin rolled, in the water at that exact moment. Once he rolled, all the way around, under the water he clammered onto the shore between the alders and just layed half in, half out of the water. I thought he may have punctured himself on the alders but he got up after a few seconds (seemed like hours!) and all was well. Super scary though! Be careful about letting your horse step into dark water to drink if you don't know what the bottom is like. We won't be stopping for drinks at that spot anymore. | |

| GOOD LORD!!! that was s freak accident! Just shows how anything can happen in the blink of an eye. Just glad that your horse and especially your husband walked away unharmed. | |

I'm hoping this isn't the case C4B's! He loves water....or loved anyways.... I have posted a few watery pics lately Joan, but we really aren't in the water THAT much, LOL. I'll let you all know how he makes out the next time we go in the water. | |
