The pony is also in her 20's...but is a heinz 57 kind of pony, and came to me last year so We really don't know the acutal age. I LOVE oldies for kids. Makes a much better mount for them till they are ready to move on to something younger.
Last night lessons was Grace's 3rd ride. She is still walking, but can get the nicest bend on a circle. She is going to make a great rider someday.
Skippy wouldn't let me get any side on pictures of her with Isobel...when Isobel's rides Skip keeps nice and close to me, to watch Isobel. Very smart horse.
I like to jump on the oldies once and a while too which leaves me to question my sanity at riding a younger horse...who during lessons gets to spend the time in the barn. HA
It is good for her, she needs to learn that being by herself is a good things at times especially when we eventually get to overnight shows. :face:
