I NEED A NEW CHAIR>..

Well I'm back to work this week...yay! NOT...

Anyhoo they know I'm half crippled up and have trouble sitting as it is so they requested a chair for me 2 weeks ago (prior to me coming back)... well this is my 5th day sitting in this piece of junk and I can hardly walk - I think they're trying to do me in (I'd sure like early retirement)....

WHERE IS MY CHAIR?!?!?!?!?

Alright I know this seems like a small issue in the scheme of things but right now this useless chair is the only thing I can think about....just wanted to vent as our office is really quiet and as much as I'd like to scream I need a new chair they'd probably escort me to the front door...

You should see this piece of junk I'm sitting on I think if someone wasn't gimped up to start with it'd certainly help the process along....

it really sucks if you cant be comfortable doing what you really dont want to do but have to................sorry your arse hurts.

The ole arse has lots of padding it can handle the chairs its my poor back that is a wimp....

so its a recliner you are expecting then?????

Hey I sit in an office chair at We Engrave that is like a recliner JJ. It's got to be the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. Hopefully your new one will come in soon D.

Well I guess all I had to do was rant about it... Manager just brought me a chair!!! Yehaww...

Nah, not even close to a recliner just a plain old office chair - the chair I was sitting in was like a wooden kitchen chair.

omg I know what your going through, I had the same problem when I got back to work here..I immediately ordered my new chair and now I'm not bend over when I get up .. I love the lumbar support it gives me.. Hopefully you will be ok now.. sucks when you hurt like that at work and advil will only do so much..

GAHHHHHHHHHHHH - I was off Monday and Tuesday as I'm working super compressed weeks and SOMEONE TOOK MY CHAIR.... now I have a piece of junk again *sigh* back to hounding people again tomorrow for a new chair....

The most annoying part of the whole situation is when I try to explain I have a bad back and if I don't have a good chair I'll struggle to walk they roll their eyes because at 24 years old I guess I don't know what a bad back is....

Guess we need to get the forks and bats and find your chair....

I'd chain your chair to your desk. They may still be able to "set it free" but perhaps the dumb-asses will get the hint!

Seems silly complaining about a chair - yesterday I had to leave work at lunch, my back went into spasms and I was having difficulty breathing and ended up not being able to straight my back at all (looked something like the hunchback of Notre Dame) --- Unfortunately, there goes my weekend and ability to do anything I enjoy, including driving or watching the kids myself... now I get to eat painkillers like candy and be a space cadet all weekend *sigh*

If you need too, go to your Dr and get a note stating that you need a Obus chair, (or a certain chair). They have to get it for you and they can put it thought their insurance company.

Thanks to about 9 years ago, I fell and broke my back. I have to have a good chair, else I can't work. My back will KILL me. I had one job, where they actually had it so I can go and stand up when I worked, I loved it!!!!!! So when my back bothered me, I could stand to releave it and then keep working as it made a BIG difference.
