We learned
yet another valuable lesson last week (there seems to be no end of the things I need to learn)
- if you have horse vehicles sitting -
wasps
will build nests in any available hole -
We were going to hook Dolly in the wagon, hubby went down the field put the traces on it, bent over, got stung in the eye by a wasp, which of course prompted a certain amount of blue air, and found the little devils had a nest in the hollow metal thingy that connects the 2 front wheels on a hay wagon. Right behind the horses heels.
Wouldn't that have been a fun ride, 1200 lbs of Dolly with wasps stinging her arse..... :cowboyani.gif: :cowboyani.gif:
Might have had to send her back to the track LOL!
It's only funny now because it didn't happen.....goodness, the things we can get up too!!
Oh yeah - hubby has a helmet now... :affraid:
