I got a Surprise! I got a Surprise!

Yes some of you may (will) think I'm totaly OUT to Lunch but...

Yesterday I bought another horse...

BUT!

Its not just Any horse that I saw out in a field or ad this week and said I NEED THAT HORSE!

NO, Not EVEN close!

I've been watching his guy since he was 2-3. But then I could not get him because I was not ready to train a young horse to lope... so I had to watch him be sold. Which broke my heart but there was nothing I could do...
He was sold from NB to the bottom on N.S. So I tried to push him out of my mind (because it was driving me NUTS...at times I felt sick and some nights I could not sleep)
I was 100% sure I would never see him again and never have a chance to buy him again.
But never say Never

Fast Forward to this year...Late May early June.

I was going throught Atlantic Rider looking at horses (But not shopping just watching...)
Saw an ad for a Paint gelding come up next and thought nothing of it and almost skipped it but curious I clicked it...
And Guess who I saw!!! I Saw my dream horse come back to me!
So of course, I had finally stopped lossing sleep over him ands he comes back..
so yes I email the owners...
But they desided they did not really want to sell him just then... but when she did want to she would email me FIRST.
So back to sleepless nights and feeling sick...

And after hearing nothing and buying a crazy appy...
Monday night (Aug 3rd) She EMAILED BACK!!!
she has an offer and wanted to know if I still wanted him and could offer the same amount... (which was a bit higher then before) so of course I said YES!
But, He is at the Yarmouth Exhibition and the other people that want to buy him are there and want to take him when they leave this week...
So I had to really convince her I would not back out and really did want him and to say no to the other people...
Which I got a email Last night... and she said that she would say he is SOLD!!!
But... TO ME!!!
My boss is allready going down to N.S. to pick up another horse in Sept so we are going to work something out that we can get my guy too!

I still can't believe it...
After all those years I'm finally going to get him!!
Its all happened soo fast!
The drive is going to feel like forever!!!

I'm not trying to 100% believe it till we have on the trailer and are coming home... As if something does happen and I can't get him I will die! I've NEVER felt this way about a horse... Not even SANDY!

See I'm not too insane... RIGHT?!?!?!?!?

Want photos??? Living Dream 466697 I'll try to find some...

And you probably want details about the horse...

very cute he looks like a nice horse (kinda looks like my guy). Are you keeping the appy as well or are you going to sell him?

I'm going to keep him for the winter and put lots of training on him
then either lease him to a friend, or sell him.

The more and more I say it, it seems more real.
But, I'll truely believe it when he is in the stable yard... life has too many curves to it.

thanks!
