Thought you might be needing a "kid" fix, hard to believe it will be 6 weeks tomorrow since I got him :)
Took these today :)



he's starting to get chunkier and thicker through the barrel and neck, also starting to
get some winter fuzzies and coat is lightening up. Just ordered him a new winter waterproof blanket today.

Time sure does fly by. The Kid is filling out nicely and packing on some pounds for sure. I can see has has his daddy's butt but he has his mom's beautiful expression,,,I still puddle when I see it. It was hard letting him go after we lost her but I know he is getting lots of TLC and loads of attention.

I just love his markings! He's certainly filling out nicely. The expression on his face makes me melt too.

He is just stunning! Won't get sick of seeing pictures of him!!

He's looking good, time flies eh doesn't seem like you've had him that long...Do you plan on castrating him?

I'm going to see how he matures physically and stays mentally calm over the next year, spring will be a good indication of how much of an upper brain he has. I've told him if he keeps the upper brain working then the lower ones can stay, but if the upper fails the lowers get cut :)

LB - I told my husband the same thing. He got cut two weeks ago! :doglaugh.gif:

Buddied up Kid with my daughters QH pony Baileys Bailey, they had a little fun playing tag and running and bucking then settled down to graze together. Baileys Bailey is a gelding but pretty dominant so he's keeping Kid well in line ;)

Looks like they had a lot of fun. After being the only little fella out with all of our bosyy girls, Kid would think time with Bailey was a picnic, I'm sure!!!

You must be getting excited to get your Bailey home!!???? :bounce:

The other Bailey flies in tomorrow at 4pm, I cant wait :) I'll have my riding buddy back (till spring)

Imagine just running for the fun of it. What a feeling of freedom that must be!

PS - I took Gord to the doc instead of doing it myself. Although I did buy a new pair of tree loppers ...

He is beautiful......Gotta love dorsal strips.....He sure does look happy and healthy...
