CJ is a video phonecall type thing...and its free.......so I use it for scotland and today tanya got it hooked up in victoria................just google skype and you can download and be on in no time,,,saves lots of cash and you can see who you are talking to

Dominica uses it to talk to her sister out west too.......its great to see the grandkids etc...........

I don't have a camera on my computer. I did my little video on my digital camera and then downloaded it. Do I have to have a computer camera (or whatever they're called!)?

well, Tanya tells me no..that you can plug your camera into the computer and set it to video and it should work.............well, easier said than done \i'm sure...but the webcam is probably your best bet and get one with a microphone if your computer doesnt have one.............. you can get pretty inexpensive web cams now that work really well for under 30bucks.......but I DONT KNOW\ what you have for a computer so am not sure what system you are running.

OMG my brain is going to explode! I just barely learned how to take a video and put it on the computer. This one is beyond me ladies

no no nonooooo..........its really easy................breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth...........now....type skype into google.....it will come up right away....follow insturction...really easy...then try to get me ...Lightning and I just hooked up..........so do it.

Come on SD, it's fun!!! Joan will talk you through it. She had to talk me through it too.

oh boy, I found a skype add on for internet explorer........now I dont really want to PUSH THE BUTTON, cause I dont know exactly what that means..........but maybe we can skype here if I can figure it out............but maybe MOODY BLUE would know???????????/

My boss took his camera back (shhh, don't tell him I drug it around my barn for a week and dropped it in the snow several times!). So, I am cameraless for now and I don't have a web cam thingy either.

My s/o sister lives in indiana and his whole family is from Malyasia so they use skype instead of call each other it's really great for his parents cause they can see thier grandson they haven't seen in 2 years

I just found this thread... Yeah I have skype too.. I only open it when I'm going to use it, so I would show as off line.. for some reason it slows my computer down to a crawl if I leave it on.

I purchased a web cam with a mic in it, for 40. bucks.. I used it with Jazz when she was in Italy.

Bay-Lee I am going to go and open now so I can add you too...


Hahaha.. my first conversation was so funny with JJ... she didn't have her mike on the correct setting, so I had no sound from her on this end, and had to read her lips, cause she couldn't find the pencil..writing part..lol I near peed my self that night.. was so good to have a laugh.

Conference call would be a hoot.. but give me some warning... I don't always get dressed anymore.
