we do a Maritime-Equestrians Weight loss challange we could all chuck in $25.00 or $50.00 bucks and have a date that we have till and than who ever looses the most wins the pot????

That's a great incentive CJ. Maybe you could make it a percentage of weight loss since not everyone needs to loose huge amounts.

So when do we start and I agree it can't go by how many pounds lost since someone may need to lose 10 and another person 25 you know what I mean?

I'd like to join! Extra motivation so I can whoop Johnny's buttercup in our bet. I would prefer a ... er... smaller entry fee, things are tight at the moment. So closer to $25 than $50 would be my vote.

Sounds like a great motivator CJ. And in my opinion % is the only way to go because of the different body types, etc. I don't feel it's necessary to get a picture of the scales - we all seem pretty darned honest on this forum so I think it should be the honour system. My vote is for a lower entry fee (like $10 or so). Our funds are really tight and even if we even got 10 of us to do it, the winner would still get about $100 - which in my life is alot! I'll volunteer to keep track of the weights. I can start a spreadsheet (spread - get it!) and people can e-mail me their start weights, and weekly loss if they want to keep it private. Just let me know how you want to work it. For the moola I can get everyone to send me the entry fee and I can put it into my savings account (which is currently EMPTY) - so it'd be safe.

I can make a pravite Thread fo the people who are on it and no one else can get into it but the members? what do you think?
