PostSubject: Bit of a Rave   Bit of a Rave Icon_minitimeFri Oct 15, 2010 7:18 pm

I'm going to get right to it.

I got a job offer at one of the best Show Jumping Stables in Canada.
I leave when ever I can find a cheap flight.
the first couple weeks is to make sure I fit in and work out.
If I want it. then I stay for around ayear (longer if I want)
In the Winter, we are down in Florida for 3 1/2 months.

I'm really excited and really scared all at the same time

Scared because I have to leave asap and I have 3 horses, harold, rabbit and cat.
Sandy and Harold will be staying home. so will the rabbit and cat.
I'm hoping to find a place(s) for Sunny and Arizona where they will be Free leased
Around Moncton. somewheres that will keep them both up todate in riding.
as they both are at a critical time in their training.

My cat is going to go nuts. If I go to the washroom he comes to the door and waits for me.
if he hears my truck he runs all over the house and then comes and waits by the door.
Spoiled rotten

My biggest fear is the cat getting let outside. He means alot to me and I would die if I lost him :(
when I was sharing a mini home last spring he got out and we almost lost him. I was really freaking out.

And there is a point in time where no horse experenced people will be home for around three weeks this spring... so that raises lots of other problems... we would need to find someone who can run the back hoe to load Haylage into the feeder (and to get the haylage...)
trying to workout that is going to be extreamly hard....

Good Luck! I hope it all works out for you. The lead-up to going anywhere when you have critters can be pretty high stress. Let us know how things work out.

Sounds really exciting along with the stress of leaving your animals. Hopefully you will find someone responsible to take care of everything for you while you are gone.....GOOD LUCK :cowboyhound.gi

I'm getting really excited. I think I'll be flying out on the 27th

Everything seems to be falling into place good.
