Barn progress Updated Nov. 28

I just thought I might share my updated barn pictures with everyone :) We're getting closer to being finished, and I can't wait to have the monsters at home!

Oct 28th. This is the side facing the house. We're using used steel, and weren't able to get it all in the same color, so I think we're going to paint it in the spring.

It seems to have taken forever to get to this point, but I think we're doing pretty well for only being able to work on it a few hours a day, a few days a week :D Lots more pictures to come when I get everyone home!

Wow, it's really coming along great. Must be exciting to know that Belle and Indy will be @ home soon.

Hi gang! We're just about ready to bring the ponies home! It won't be completely finished until next spring/summer, but we'll have bigger stalls done, and a temporary stall for Arian this winter. Here are some pictures we took today!

Looks great!!! I really like the rustic look of the stalls inside. Loving the plank walls.

Coming along great!! And I totally know the feeling that it seems like things are taking FOREVER!! But it'll be worth it in the end thats for darn sure! May I ask what the HUGE tall posts are goign to be for at the back of the barn??

Thanks! :D It's getting there, I just need to keep reminding myself that I've waited this long for my own barn, that another few days won't hurt! Haha! The big posts at the back are for the overhang we'll be adding in the spring. It will be about 8 feet wide, and run the length of the barn. We'll also be adding another piece on the other side of the barn, which will be my hay room, tack room, and a small stall for Arian :D I'll be sooo relieved when everything is finally finished!

I almost forgot to mention that it will also be painted all one color in the spring as well!

Wow, it looks great!!! Wish I had my own barn, but where I board is so close to my work and home it's almost like my own. I love the fact that they can go outside by the back of their stalls.

I can't wait to see them out there! :D I especially can't wait to see them out in the big field next summer! I forgot to mention, in the last picture on the right (where the chair is) is where Arian's stall is going to be built! We should have it done by Thursday!
