11 year old AQHA Mare.
Pep is a seasoned show horse. She was shown in working cowhorse competitions out West where she placed extremely well followed by several months of reining training. She competed in the 3 year old Snaffle Bit Futurity followed by the Derby.
Pep is our "go to mare", she does it all. One day we’ll take her penning, the next day we’ll hook her in the wagon, and the following day we'll use her to lead young colts off of.
Pep is a frequent money earner in the penning ring and she knows how to work cattle. This is a fantastic mare that won't be outgrown by her rider.
This mare will go anywhere and do anything. She is a quick and catty mare that can get the job done - whether it be in the penning, reining, or racing ring.
Pep will make a great horse for someone that doesn't want to take the time breaking in a young horse. She knows how to chase cattle and she's awfully good at it!!!
We are trying to stick to riding horses that hubby trains. If we keep Pep around we keep defaulting back to her because she's ready to go, she's regularly in the money, she has too much heart, and is always reliable.
