suppose it is time for an update!
as some know, cowboy and myself ventured home from grand falls end of January. Pharmacy Tech wasn't what i wanted to do after all so moved home, and cowboy is back to Katrina's. he had one snort getting off the trailer then released everything and moseyed on into the barn like he never left!
We had a quite winter here at the sliding K, all the ponies had the winter off and past week we just got back into the swing of things. cowboy had 2 days of getting his spring silly's out but yesterday we had a great lunge session, if he gives me another great day i will start back under saddle with him. I'm in no rush with him, i want to make sure it's done right the first time and make sure everything is positive and moving forward. last time I rode was in grand falls, and we started to do some moving off the pressure at the jog and backing up, hopefully we aren't too far off when i get back on! anyways with no further delay, here are some shots!
cow's new halter!

cowboy and jazz, sharing a chew of a lead rope.
cowboy's niece on the left, Tia; and his daughter Maple on right.
I took in Mango's full sister (same litter) because her owner's couldn't take care of her anymore, thankfully i found a PERFECT home for her and she has settled in quite well. just wanted to post photos for comparison. mango is the one with long hair and dakota is the short haired and pointy eared.
