So the M-E is pretty quiet So is tehre anyhting you would like to see changed??? new topics? new Colors? new something??

New colors would be great! I also don't reply much because of the long list of "smileys" that take forever to load on my slow technology.. If that could be changed to a second page that he great :)

Part could be we are all just outside with the horses instead of inside watching it snow talking about them :-). And with saying that, I am going to go drag the ring, since the little showers last night damped the dust down enough that I might be able to see where I am going lol.

The "other" forum is slow also right now. I check once in awhile. I think and hope it is just the nice weather. I really enjoy this forum and hoping it will pick up in the fall. My life is pretty boring, lol!!

I think it's most likely the nice weather too. This is a great forum that I find friendly and informative without being "judgy", if that's a word!

Facebook is the demise of many a forum, :( Most of y'all are on there so anything I'd post here would have already been seen,
though I do like the photo contest thing as it seems they are photos I didnt already see or missed on fb. But I do check over here daily to see if there is anything new and exciting.

Yes Facebook has taken over everything but i would like to keep this site up and running if i can, so what colors would you all like to see? maybe some new topics? maybe dogs and cats added to it or other animals?? Slap some new stuff down I think it will be good?? and if we can get JJ back we can add a survivors topic??

Interesting question, and I've thought long and hard on an answer...there isn't an easy or quick fix...nobody seems to take the time/make the effort to reply...take the birthday wishes for example, 127 views but only 4 replys...even when you don't know the person, if you take the time to read the wishes, why can't you add your own? I'm on dial-up, and yes all the emocons were a pain, but what the heck...for myself, any posting I made, I was talking with the same handful of people everytime, so yes, fb is a much more direct route of contact...I do check in here about once a week or so, and will continue to do so, in hope that more people are posting...we have a good thing going here, lets ALL energize it with fun and laughter once again...so POST!

OK I am guilty of reading and not posting. I do that on fb too. Rarely do anything but like things. For me I am usually on the asking end and rarely have any advice. I like the forum model much better than facebook for help - it is specific and very few of my fb friends are horse people. So I do hope this keeps going.

I did figure out a way this morning Debbie.....by clicking on the Image icon instead of the Host an Image icon then just transferred my pix url and clicked ok...........its a pain cause its still only one at a time, but I did manage to do some

I checked out your link for the skins........102 pages.........we could switch it up with the seasons.....they have some great christmas ones so could one of those on for winter......and halloween, and easter etc.......doesnt have to stay the same all year..........but way tooooooooooooo many to choose from........and if you want me to pick one......well there is a perfect purple........but maybe overwhelming for some folks hahahah

Pictures are very simple to upload using basic HTML... providing you use a web host whether that be facebook, photobucket, ect...

take the direct link and then paste in on here.. and put [ img ] in front, and [ /img ] at the end of the link.

It's really not hard to figure out.. right click the imagine online.. click on "properties" then copy the "Address URL:" It will end in .JPG and if it doesn't, refresh the page, and right click/properties again.

By coping this you get a direct link:

SOOOOO EASY.

This also works with ANY photo online - be that on google, someone elses facebook, a website, whatever!! every imagine online has to have a direct link. For an example.. here is Simi's signature photo... (Right click image, click Properties, copy url. Paste URL in here.. ad [img*] in front, and [/img*] without the "*" (I can't enter it without the spaces or it will think I'm trying to use "in front, and" as a link. Make sense?

I'm a VERY active poster all the facebook groups, Atlantic Rider, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I am out and about with my horse.. don't have the luxury of taking lessons right now.. so my lessons are from learning from the posters who share their views and opinions. I do have a life, its just horse obcessed. People are tired of me I'm sure hahahaha
