2010 NS Trails Calendar Project

Hi - I received this email from NSEF yesterday. Thought that I would also post it here for those of you who probably have lots of pictures of trails. Hopefully I've posted in the proper place :-)

Good Morning Everyone,

Have any of you noticed those beautiful NS Trail Calendars slowly becoming thinner as the pages are flipped back and another month goes by? What’s going to happen when all those pages are turned?

Well hopefully with your trail group’s support we will be able to create another calendar to turn during the year of 2010!

However, in order to be able to create new calendars we again will require support from our members. Simply put, we are going to need lots of pictures if we hope to create a new calendar. We would appreciate all pictures to be sent prior to June 30th so we can assess whether or not the project is a go.

There are a few specifications and criteria that should be submitted when sending a picture:

· Where is the picture taken? (What Trail?)

· Where is the trail located?

· Your Contact Information (Name, Phone #, Email)

· The uses of the particular trail the picture was taken of hiking, skiing, snowmobile, atv etc)

· The seasons the trail is in use.

· And most importantly, All pictures need to be taken with a (5mega-pixel camera and up, a resolution of 2560x1920 or higher).

· In order for the pictures to qualify they have to be saved as the highest quality possible.
