My Equines (Overload... )

So you've met my newest guy but some of you don't know my other ones or have not seen them in a while.

Today I went out and just hung out and took photos of my equines.
First there is Sandy. 7 year old Percheron/Belgian mare. Red Roan. I trained her to lead and under saddle. I show her in little shows and mostly in the games (gymkhana)








And with Sandy (who I got fall 2008) came Harold. my coming 3 year old Jack Donkey.



And then I was given Princes a 20 year old Pure Belgian mare on Dec 27th 2008. She is a pasture pet.





And my newest one Kasper. a coming 9 year old Appy Gelding. he has lots of training on him and has been used mostly for Kids and green beginners but has not been worked much so needs a nice little refresher and he was also spoiled rotten so needs some manners.














I LOVE the way his coat shines in the sun! I can't wait to get him all clean and spotless! HE is also fun to take photos of... as you can tell with the amount of him I got here... :roll:

I rode him for at least an hour tonight. (just getting in) Just at a walk. maybe 10 jogging steps both ways. not even.
Went better then I thought it would. it went great pretty much!
and after I rode I brushed him for like 15 minutes. and I picked up all hooves and cleaned out the front ones (while he just stood there with the halter and bridle on. and don't worry I always had a eye on him and some part of my body aginst him to feel if he was going to do anything)
he ground ties great with the bridle on! tomorrow I'm not going to go as long as I need to work sandy alot this week as Saturday I'm trailering her up to Havelock for a big party at the farm where I bought her from and she is going to stay there till the peddy Show as its closer to peddy and the Friday before the show I'm going up and staying somewheres up there so I can ride her and get ready for the show. (which is on Aug 2nd).

so when she is gone I'll have Sandy's working time to work Kasper.

you are just nuts..............NO WASHING THE SPOTS OFF THE APPY!!!!!! thats why you bought him!!!!!!!!!!! hahahah appys should not ever be spotless :roll: :roll:

Nice looking group. Sandy and Princess are hamming it up for the camera. I had to smile, I could just imagine trying to wash all those pretty spots of Kasper...afraid not!!! He is a handsome boy. You must be soooo happy to finally have him home.

am I'm alowd to wash the poop spots off?? hehheh
yea I'm happy to finally have him home.

JOAN!!! did you not even notice Harold?!?! he would be extreamly sad if you did not. you are like his biggest fan!

course I noticed the lugged eared guy..........how could you miss Harold.........but I was just making sure you werent going to spend time trying to scrape the lovely peacock spots off of Kasper!....HUGS TO HAROLD. :roll: well and then I guess we better not forget Sandy either. geesh. :roll:
