missing Denver, but not his birthday!

last wednesday, april 27th, would have been Denver's 12th birthday :(

gosh i miss that horse so much...more than anything ive ever missed before. its insane. hes been gone for just a little over 5 months...and it feels like only yesterday that i was kissing his cute white nose and telling him what a drama queen he was...but i loved him anyway. he had his flaws, but i dont think ill ever own another horse like him. i went to visit his grave a couple days ago..it was bittersweet, but i guess the only thing i can do is move forward, and be thankful that i was lucky enough to have him be a part of my life, even though it was only for a short couple of years.

Feeling the loss of a friend is always hard. Take comfort in the great memories that you have. Denver will live on in your heart forever.
