judging light horse Empty
PostSubject: judging light horse   judging light horse Icon_minitimeMon Apr 11, 2011 10:09 am

At our next 4-H meeting we are going to practice judging. I was wondering if there was anyone willing to "judge" four mares for me. I could send you the pictures - side shots - and if you could rank them and give some reasons for doing so. Then I will get my light horse club to judge and "teach" the rest of the club how to do it. My co-leader and I will also judge them but it would be really helpful to have someone with a bit more judging experience to eyeball them for me. Two are ponies and two are horse size but we are looking at judging for good conformation, rideability and soundness. Not looking for traits specific to a particular event.

Thanks for any help!
