Me & My Willow

I've been going through some family stuff recently. Haven't mentioned it as it's not something I feel up to talking about. But anyhow, I've been away from home for several weeks now and just got back yesterday. Today I went for a much needed ride on Willow. Words cannot express how much I love that horse. No matter how bad things seem to get, I can always count her her to give me a little escape from the real world.

Here are just a few from our ride.

Willow is looking great, Too bad about family stuff hope everything works out for ya. I noticed Maggie is up for lease did you find someone to lease her yet?

Willow is adorable, love the pics.. hope all goes well with you and there's nothing like spending time with your horse to make things better..
sometimes talking about your problem makes it seem better, hope you have someone you can talk to.. don't keep things bottled up.. it tends to explode after a while.. take care of yourself.

She is very pretty. What kind of horsie is she or is she a pony?

Like someone has already said...make sure your talking to someone...Holding it in is not a good thing to do....

As soon as I started looking at the pics I noticed something different in Willow....Her expression...It likes she saying..."I got ya Mom...don't worry"....You can tell your horse loves you just as much as you love her...talk to her..She'll understand...

From all the pictures I've seen of Willow over the years it is so apparent what a special horse she is. She truely is a gift!!

I remember the pictures from a year or two ago of her bowing....I thought those were great!!

Thanks everyone. I almost started crying just from making that post.....my dad is in the hospital with cancer and the doctors say he doesn't have much time left.



For those who don't know, Willow is an 8 year old Appaloosa cross I've had since she was born. I made those rhythm beads for a couple days ago while waiting in the hospital.

So sorry to hear about your dad, I am sending a hug your way. Willow will be there to cry on and she won't judge you lean on her when you need it. If you need to vent we are here too. ((((hugs)))
