Good day at the Maritime Paint Show

A couple of my friends and I started at 5AM to make the trip to Sussex to cheer Syl and Eli on in their show debut. We arrived at 8:30 literally to see Syl and the colt on their way to the first class. They were a fine looking duo. After a few "new to the ring" jitters, the Kid settled down and they did well. Syl has done a great job with him in the few short weeks she has had him.

I also was able to touch base quickly with, Mere and Jane.....who, along with their horses were beautiful turned out. I wish time had allowed me to be able to accept Mere's cordial invite to a potluck after today's show but we had to start back by mid afternoon.. It was really nice meeting everyone.

Beautiful, beautiful horses, really nice folks.

I was very happy to get there as well. You did an awesome job and "grandma" is proud of the Kid. I have some pics that I may post...not nearly as nice as yours. I was sorry that I didn't get some of Jane and her gorgeous mare so I am happy to see some with your photos.

Glad to hear all went well! Was there a pretty good turnout for the show? I certainly will be there next year with my little girl!

There were not as many horses as I thought there might be but the show was very well organized and the facilities were great. Wish you and Tru had been able to make the show this year . Hope the wedding went well. Next year is coming!!!!
