Introducing.....DIXIE

Dixie comes to us from Corner Brook NFLD....Dixie is a 7yr old Percheron/Arab cross....We needed a big boy horse for my big boy..One that was quiet, yet large....We couldn't be happier with her...She is such a pleasant horse that loves people..And she has the DUHHHHH factor which is perfect for my beginner hubby...I don't mean duhhhh in a stupid way..I mean duhhhh in a 'like I am on dope duhhhh and everything just goes by me and I could care less duhhhh'... Hope that explains it ...hehehehehe

So here she is....Dixie...My hubby's first official horse...To get an idea of her size....Hubby is almost 6'2"

Morgan of course had to take Ms. Dixie for a spin around the mud...hehehe...She was clean when she arrived...Didn't take her long to fit in with the 2 other mud pies we call horses






A quick flick with the brush before we left...I can't get over how quiet she is..And how much she loves people even after she just met them....A real pocket pony type....Just the size of a tandem truck....hahaha

My old guy Dusky was a percheron / Morgan X and he died on my birthday last Dec. .. I miss him very much

I have dreamed of a black and white paint my whole life...Now he has one...I am jealous myself
He has only ridden trail rides so kinda a virgin to a point..He has always wanted one just never with anyone who supported his dream of owning one..He is with the right one now...

Well Jo.. I guess I meant Lucky for both.. man and beast.. lol.. she truly is beautiful..

She looks like a sweetheart , I love her markings , seems to have settled right in!

Glad to see she made it in safe and sound! I never got the chance to meet her in person while Mike & Wendy had her, but I heard lots of good things and saw lots of pictures, lol!

well she doesnt look anything like a heelan coo............no horns or real long shaggy red hair..............but she sure is beautiful...........congratulations...........just the perfect size for him......wooooooooooo hoooooooooo :cheers: so I guess I didnt win the prize :sleep:
