WATER

COKE

#1. In many states the highway patrol carries
two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from
the highway after a car accident.


#2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke
and it will be gone in two days.

#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the
toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour,
then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes
stains from vitreous china.


#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:
Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds
Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.


#5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour
a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble
away the corrosion.


#6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola
to the rusted bolt for several minutes.


#7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into
the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake.
Thirty minutes before ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix
with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.


#8... To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke
into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run
through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen
grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your
windshield.


FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

#1. the active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid.
It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric
acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major
contributor to the rising increase of osteoporosis.

#2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup! (the concentrate) the
commercial trucks must use a hazardous Material place
cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.

#3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean
engines of the trucks for about 20 years!

I drank at least a 2L bottle coke everyday.. now I don't drink pop/coke unless it's mixed with the captain.. lol.. since I stopped drinking coke I've lost 45 lbs.. ummm something to think about.

hmmm I loved my coca-cola, but it is addicting, use to drink 3 bottles a day in university and then going through the CA program. My new years resolution for 2008 was to get down to 1 a day and in 2009 was 1 a week and have been able to do that. Use to be so bad that when I went to morning meetings away i would put the coca-cola in a coffee mug because walking in with coffee was socially exceptable but a can of coca-cola and i was stared at. (I don't drink coffee)

I have seen that before, doesn't really stop me or motivate me because I know it was written with a bias in mind and it is using extremes. How do I know that? well wouldn"t I be dead if they were all true (I drank ALOT), it eats through nails in 2 days but can sit in a aluminum can for a year? The reason i stoped was simply for weight loss, if I could drink it and not gain weight i probably would continue.

But I do love my water, I drink quite a bit of water (a bottle before I eat any meals), probably on average 3.5-4l a day, but it needs to be room temperature.

Easy answer..... even with all the bad things it say's I still say.... gimme COKE :)
I dont drink water.... never have liked it, In a year I might drink an 8oz glass of water total
and that's just a sip to swallow a pill or something when there is absolutely no other choice but water.
I live on Soda/Pop, Coffee and Cappuchino, might have the odd glass of milk once in a while.
I dont even like Ice cubes in my Coke, dilutes it too much.

I'm a huge diet coke fan. I think it's the caffeine that gets me craving it. I also drink water but have to force myself to have it instead of DC. I've been trying to cut down the DC because I CAN feel my body getting dehydrated if I don't get enough water into me. DC is my only vice - other than that I guess I'm pretty much perfect !

Sorry to highjack....but...CONGRATS MARIEA ON 45LBS LOST!! I've lost 28lbs so far.

yes I am a cokeaholic and could easily go back to it.. but I really am trying to stay away.. even in my rum I've changed to reg. coke.. again to get away from the sweetener. I can't say that all the weight I lost is due to stopping diet coke, but I bet it played a big part. I am not a fan of water.. so it has to be perfect.. no tap water and only certain brands of water will I buy.. I love our reverse osmosis water it's perfect and it has to be icy cold to drink it.. I have less head aches and less muscle cramps now that I drink more water.. I wish now I could stop smoking again.. after not smoking for 8 months.. blah..
