This is a new mare we took in ........Her name is Georgia En My Mind....AKA Georgia...someone here has her sire and I can't remember her log in name 'Azure"
It was fabulously warm and sunny. The kids and I decided to take the horses for a walk on the road which we do every spring just to get them back in the mood of things and to get a change of scenery.
This was Georgia's first time off property so it was really good for her...At first she was skiddish andnervous but settled really well..
She met ATV's with loud mufllers - she wasn't impressed but walked on.
She met 4 cows and 1 bull and never flinched.
Mailboxes,cars,dogs,truck and trailer,chain saw,skill saw and never bothered her....She strolled along like she knew where she was going.
Once home we let them settle in the pasture then we went back out and the kids rode bareback....Georgia was a trooper. WOW I can certainly not get over this mare......My daughtger finds her very intelligent and willing and so easy going.
She took a small stroll at a walk in the snow in the pasture with her and Chard not far away with only halter and leads......
Got some pics but have to reduce size and upload but will for sure get them up and on facebook also.
Will update more real soon. Will have to update her page on the website now...she went from racehorse to bareback in 2 weeks no fuss and full time turn out horse.....
