hey, im looking to find a draft or draft cross for my boyfriend's cousin to learn to ride. her family has always had drafts, (clydes, now percherons) but none broke to saddle, and she'd love to learn to ride. Her father has his own barn and land, so it would be well looked after. I've offered to give lessons and ride with her (once mine are well enough behaved, lol), if i can find a super cheap, preferably bomb proof horse that is big enough for her. She would most likely be an occasional rider, not one to ride everyday, and most likely trail ride.
Let me know if anyone has anything, or any leads. :)
