Well another week is done.... During this week, I was having alot of stomach/back pain last weekend, and figured it was due to revenge of my body for not ovulating for 12 years. On Tuesday night I was in near tears and Wednesday I got mom to bring me to the ER again. After some blood work and tests, we found I had an cyst rupture and that's what was cuzing me all the pain. Yesterday was the first day with no pain killers, well other then later that night for a headache.

The Dr's are also having a hard time to get the level of meds I need to take. They do a test and it tests your blood for how quickly it coagulates. And it's given to you on a Scale called an INR Scale A normal person is a 1 or so. They want me on the scale between 2 and 3, closer to a 3. Well Tuesday I went in for bloodwork and found I found I was at 6, which means if I cut myself, I had a greater chance to bleed out. So they had to take me off the meds so it would lower, and now that's it's down to 2, they have to figure out how much for me to take to keep it there. So bloodwork every 3 days or so.

So my ponies are still out at a friends house for another week, until I can be healthy for a period of time, and have the energy to do the chores.

So very sorry to hear of your troubles Flicka!!! Hope you get all the care you need and feel better soon!! Seems you have a lot of support girlie, That makes things a little easier!
My prayers are with you! It all sounds awfully scarie but you seem to be handleing it very well. just don;t try to rush it!

Nope, no operation, my body has looked after the cyst. The last couple days I've been doing good, now on day 3 or 4 of no pain meds.

They are still having problems getting the levels where they want them. But with time they will.

I'm hoping that on the weekend or next week, I'll be able to take the horses home. But that can change from day to day depending on how I do and feel.

I am still being careful of carrying things up and down stairs, or around. My husband asked if I was going to milk it for all it's worth. I said DAMN right I shall....

You sound like your spirits are still high. And that's half the battle! Damn ovaries are never up to any good, eh?

Don't be in too much of a rush to bring the critters home. It's better that they stay where they are and that you get 100% better than to bring them home too early, run into some trouble and then have to move them again. YOU have to feel better in order for THEM to be happy. I hope they get the meds under control soon. I think JJ went through pretty much the same learning curve with the meds - only her ovaries didn't burst in the middle of it all.

I think Becky is planning a trip in today to see you.... she will be the cute blond, dragging the canister of o2 around with her. It was decided after her last bout with heart failure she has to be on it 24/7. I bet the nurses will recognise her..
