Anybody know of any structurally sound used barn beams out there for sale or barns being demolished in NS (or maybe NB)? Want them for a new house as decorative pieces or support. Something 4x6 or 6x6. Would need two 8 foot beams and one 6 foot beam. Thanks! :)

Give Charlie at "Charlie's Auto Glass" a call. Just look it up under Canada 411 on-line...he is under the Middleton exchange. he, or his neighbor, is scrapping an old barn right now, and I saw several big old huge beams lying there when I drove past today.
