Update..... Jayne is back home after IV anitbiotics...back tomorrow for more treatments and tests. They gave her some "good" lala drugs for discomfort. I hope the stronger meds kick in quickly!!!

IV antibiotics....and more tomorrow........shoot....obviously the oral stuff wasnt taking care of it.........hope those LALA meds make her very happy........hugs for Jayne. :hugs_graphics_

Thank you everyone for the jingles and hugs!! I tried to post a picture of the mess but can't get it to work. I am very groggy though. I don't wish this on anyone. It is very painful and stinky!! Now everything I use to clean my boob has to be thrown away or disinfected including my PJs the spot. because they touched. Going back to bed for awhile. Lala pills are working. Will update later.

An Update: I had minor surgery on my boob this afternoon. Docotr lanced the bottom part on my boob, took off and cut out the dead tissue, and took 3 biopsies. I now have a rather large hole that is packed, 6 layers of pressure dressing and enough tape to wrap me up and send me away. Not feeling great right now. Still high from the drugs and the freezing is coming out. Hopefully this is the end of it. Well, not really. I have to get re-packed and more IV drugs tomorrow.

I;ll try to be serious here.......that doesnt sound like a whole lot of fun and certainly nothing to giggle at......I hope this picking and packing stuff makes a difference............but if not.........I;M thinking a real nice dip in the salty ocean wouldnt hurt.........much. :cowboyhound.gi

Oh my, hope you are feeling better. I know one of my daughters teachers had a similar experience after a cat bit her hand. IV meds, minor surgery etc. Took a couple weeks but left no lasting problems - here is hoping the same for you.
