Subject: Horse Pasture seed mix-to sow or not to sow Tue May 26, 2009 12:41 pm
Hi, does anybody have suggestions on what seed mixture has been successful for their horse pastures? We'll also be cutting it down for hay for a few years before we can move on the property. I know Timothy is on top of the list, then Kentucky Bluegrass and a bit of clover and a bit of oats for cover. Is that enough to sustain a grazing pasture for horses? :scratch:
