Thursday afternoon, trying to figure out how to move pix from facebook to here without going through photobucket......now the girls have written it out and the orders seem quite concise and simple......but no matter what the heck I do I get nothing but little boxes appearing with red xs in them.........so, I took some shots of the boys wandering around the barn after lunch and am going to work on moving said pix to here via this MAGIC METHOD.....so for those of you who give a darn.....bear with me......for those of you who are not particularly interested in watching all this transpire.......catch you later. :cowboyhound.gi

so, now I have figured the facebook....forum transfer........I wonder if I can go straight from my picasa to here.....

HHHHMMMMMMMM.........if you sync them to the web you can go to properties and follow the other instructions.....but why so small??????

and the answer is....not change the size before sending them to they sync web.........so now I can go straight from the camera, to picasa....sync to picasa web, and send them to the forum.......no need to send them anywhere else first...........woooooooooooo hoooooooooooo

Friday july 8.........dont ever believe people when they say donkeys are dumb............I just wish he would play quietly while he is running in and out of the alley way in the morning chasing Sam!!!!!!!! I opened the gate to the run in around 4am so the boys could go out and get some grass, fed Sam and the cats and jumped back into bed. Mistake number 1!!!!!!!
You know those kids that run up to peoples doors, ring the door bell , run away and sometimes leave lovely presents on the stoop??.......Well, POOPHEAD SHEAMUS thought he would bring in the laundry I left out on the line last night.....and scatter it through the barn.........KNICKERS everywhere.........Sam of course was his accomplice.....not that Sam would ever think of doing that sort of thing on his own...........Poophead is a real bad influence on him......he's a god damn Juvenile Delinquent!!!!!!!!! When I started yelliing, Sam scampered, he knew I was pissed, Poophead however just came trotting right up for his morning kiss.............
Life as I knew it is over......I have to start trying to be SMARTER THAN A DONKEY..........ok....gonna have my coffee and work out a new plan to keep Shithead in the field with Haimish. later.

hahaha.. love the story.. donkey is bringing life to the farm.. and sweet Sam is happy once more.. he's got a friend even if that friend gets him into trouble.. lol

Good morning ladies.......Saturday July 9.........I have folks coming today to pick up the hay equipment I had for sale....and they are bringing their kids to meet Sheamus.....cant wait to see how THAT turns out. No escapees this morning, nothing strewen around the barn, no loud noises or bucket tossing.......gonna have to check and make sure he aint sick............I'm sure its just the calm before the storm.......Later. :cowboyhound.gi

He sounds like a typical kid...beware when they become quiet!!! Love the blog...have to check it out to see what adventures are unfolding!!!! Glad the little guy is offering amusement, occupational therapy for Haimish, a playmate for Sam and fodder for good stories lol. Me thinks he REALLY likes Ed...is the feeling mutual???

Sunday July 10. I cant believe it, but I slept till 7.45......this is starting to be a habit.....I gotta move my buttercup, so far behind this morning........no body neighed, no body breyed, dog didnt whimper.......do I need a rooster????? :Chicken-Dance. :Chicken-Dance.

after a couple of hours today, I realized it had been precisely one week since we laid Abbey to sleep, and perhaps it has something to do with me not worrying about her anymore that lets me sleep. I havent gone back over to the hay field since then......but today I will take a walk and visit with her.

I put the boys in the little paddock this morning, but when I looked out, Shithead Sheamus had let himself into the round pen and was quite happily rolling in the wet sand......maybe if he stays there he can rid the pen of all the weeds.

I've got a couple roosters if you want one. You'd be saving him from the pot.

You want a red or black one. They are starting to crow already!

Aww, come on, you can have a funny farm without a psycho rooster. Betcha Sam would LOVE him!
